What is Voicemail Transcription?

Sometimes referred to as Speech to Text, Voice to Text, or Voicemail to Text. Voicemail Transcription is a service that converts your voicemail messages into a readable format.

Voicemail to Email

As an extension to our Voicemail to Email Alerts, we have developed and recently introduced Voicemail Transcription. We integrated this into our cloud-based phone system so that you are immediately sent an audio file with full transcription, with no delay.

This offers full flexibility, so you can choose to listen to your voicemails or read the full transcription in text.

Why is Voicemail Transcription Great for Business Calls?

Receiving your voicemails in a readable text format can be helpful when you need to pick out an important detail in a message such as a name, phone number, or postcode. It is also beneficial if you don’t have time to listen to the entire message. Or perhaps you struggled to hear what the caller said and need clarification.

You can access your voicemail transcriptions through your online portal, Voicemail Email Alerts, and your phone app, at any time.

Whether you’re using your laptop, tablet, or phone, your transcriptions are available 24/7, allowing you to read them on the train, on a conference call, or during lunch.

Confidentiality

As Voicemail Transcriptions are fully automated using voice recognition technology, there are no live agents involved in transcribing your messages. By using automated technology, you can be assured that your messages are not accessed or read by anyone but yourself.
